There was a lot of hype for June's Glossybox featuring Dallas Shaw as an American beauty.... I have one question: Who is Dallas Shaw? Lol
Here she is on the cover of their Glossy Mag. After browsing this little gem (which takes all of 30 seconds) I learned that she is an "It Girl" illustrator.
She drew this adorable girl on the top of the Glossbox and insert this month. I love it :) I will have to think of something to store in this box so I can keep it out on my dresser.
Now it is time for all the goodies......yey!
tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick- I was not too jazzed about getting a lipstick (I am more of a gloss girl) but I grabbed the liner from this month's Ipsy Glam Bag and used it with this lipstick and I was actually impressed! The ladies at work said it was a nice light color that as not overpowering and I really liked how there is red in the middle surrounded by the nude so it makes a nice shadowing on your lips when you apply it. It has a nice creamy feel to it and from what I can tell it lasted for a relatively long time before it wore off.
This picture does not do the finish justice, but you can see how it is a more natural color that just enhances what is already there. This lipstick might have changed my opinion of lipsticks.....
Sparitual Nail Polish- I have received a mini red polish and a mini green polish in my Yuzen boxes of Sparitual polish and I really liked both the colors and the polish...but pumpkin orange? I'm sorry "clay creme"? I am not too sure about this color. When I don't have a fresh mani and pedi, I will give this color a try. Worst that can happen is that I hate it and I have another candidate to mix eyeshadow into!
c. Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist- I am head-over-heels in love with this spray! It smells delicious, is light and moisturizing without being greasy and it just felt fantastic all day! It is also reasonably priced, and now that I am going to school that is kind of important :P
Philip B. Styling Gel- I am never really sure how to use gel in my long hair. I put about a quarter size of this in my palms and ran it through my hair along with some other products and blew it all out straight. I can't say that I noticed any of the "revitalizing, cooling, or refreshing" sensations it claims to give. I think I am going to try it next time when I let my hair do its curly natural thing and see if I notice any difference. I did smell pretty good and it did not feel sticky, so those are 2 pretty good indicators for me that it is a decent product line!
Oscar de la Renta Essential Luxuries- This little navy blue satchel has 6 samples of scents that have been inspired by things that Oscar loves. I tried the Oriental Lace and loved it, the pump on my Santo is not working so I may have to dismantle it to sample it, but over all they are all very feminine and sexy scents.
I don't think I have ever tried anything in a box with in 2 days of receiving it before! I think Dallas Shaw curated a fantastic box and I loved the majority of the products in it. I would love it if they let her do it again!

PopSugar Must Have Box- June 2013
Annnnnnnd June's PopSugar Must Have Box is here! I always get so excited when I come home to find that this box arrived while I was at work :)
Look at all the goodies! Such a wide variety of products this month!
Starting with the smallest item, there was a gift card for Gorjana-Griffin this month, so I went on their website and purchased the Taner Bar Small Necklace. It is very simple and dainty and when it arrived I fell in love with it. This will be something I can wear with my scrubs during school and it won't hang at all and it is short enough that it hangs right at the base of my neck.
Also from Gorjana-Griffin this month was the Zuma Scarf which retails for $62. This scarf is huuuuuge!!!! It is also adorable and soft. The colors really compliment each other. I have not figured out how to wear it yet though....may need to hit up Pinterest for some ideas ;)
Project 7 Quench The Thirsty Mints- So this cute little test tube of mints not only freshen your breath, but bring clean drinking water to communities around the world that do not have it. I love products that give back and now when I see these I will have to pick up a few more!
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream and Repair Moisturizer- This stuff claims to be organic, but it really is not. Now that that is off my chest, I can review the products. I have tried the CC cream before and it is just ok. It has that "organic" smell to it which bothers me and I do not feel like this really blends into my skin that well. Now the Repair Moisturizer was a different story. It smells fresh and like lemons and soaked into my skin and did not leave it feeling heavy or sticky at all. I was really surprised! On juicebeauty.com this tub goes for a whopping $65....I think I will stick with Murad, but thank you PopSugar for the full sized tub to try!
Popcorn Indiana Fit Popcorn- Yum! This sea salt flavored snack was delicious! Not only did it taste great but it is non-GMO verified and I could pronounce all the ingredients :) I will be looking for this in stores to see if there are other flavors to try!
Hard Candy Fitness DVD "Addicted to Sweat 4"- Oh, I love getting work out DVDs :) And I could have sworn it was JLo on the cover of this, but no it is Nicole Winhoffer who trains Madonna.
Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger- Confession: I did not read the first book, I only watched the movie :/ But I am excited to read this book! I am debating on reading the first one before jumping in to this one......can't make up my mind though lol.
I am so pleased with what was included this month! I can not wait for what PopSugar has in store for next month!

Influenster Sun Vox Box 2013
I got the Influenster Sunkissed Vox Box! I was so excited when it arrived and I was wondering what they would include....
Dr Scholl's for her High Heel gel inserts were a fantastic inclusion as I have a wedding to go to next weekend! I will be slipping these into my sassy high heels and dancing the night away at the reception. Full report on how my feet held up to come next week!
Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream- I was really excited to see this in the box! This is a huge tube of BB cream and a little bit goes a long way. It has light coverage, kind of smells like sunscreen, and rubs in nicely. It does not have a smell after applied and it leaves your skin dewy and not sticky. I don't usually use drugstore-type of products but this definitely changes my mind! I can not wait to use this on days when I know I will be outside. The SPF 25 aspect of this BB cream is awesome!
Here is the pic I submitted on Instagram with the #freshandflawless #nofilter tags for the Influenster challenge. I am loving this BB cream for a quick product to toss on my face before I run out the door on "non-make up" days or when I go for a run (hence the florescent yellow sports bra!).
Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics are always an awesome idea for the summer. I recently had these sent to me from Goody for another Influenster thing but seeing them again was awesome! They do not get stuck in my long hair, they look cute on my wrist when I am not wearing them, and I have not had one bust on me yet! I just wish they came in neon colors.....
Sinful Shine Nail Polish in "My Kryptonite"....be still my heart! I love teal and I looooooove this color! This will be my first polish from Sinful but the "gel tech" aspect has me intrigued! When I paint my nails I will update with photos and a full report :)

Bark Box- June 2013
Bentley's Bark Box for June is here! There was a big ol' slobber stain on the box before I could even get it open so I know there had to be something yummy smelling in her.
Here is my boy, checking out his goodies! He was all over that bone and was flipping items out of the box in his excitement to get to it.
And here is the whole box! Not only treats for my canine, but information cards for this human. One card was an activity suggestion (I have recently started running and have been taking Bentley out with me daily to wear him out) and the other was a card with reminders for the summer like not leaving your dog in the car, being mindful of not walking them on hot sand or pavement and making sure they get enough water. Although these are things I know, I am glad they included the card because I have been shocked at the number of people who have been leaving their dogs in hot cars.
Butcher's Block Bones "The Champ"- On the info card this may be listed as "Heartland Premium" bones. This thing is nice and stinky and the first thing Bentley went for. I am saving it for this weekend when I go out of town. Maybe this will keep him so distracted he won't notice I am gone and he will stay out of my parents' hair!
Bowser Beer- This is so cute! It is a plastic bottle of non-alcoholic dog beer that has glucosamine in it. Directions say you can add it to water or put it over dry dog food or on a hot day pour it over ice! I will be giving this to Bentley after one of our runs as a treat.
Dale Edgar "Calm K9 Nutri-Wafers"- It is like Bark Box knows my dog! My high-strung lab/great dane mix will really benefit from these calming wafers. They are made with camomile to help calm their nerves.
Puppy Cake "Puptato Chips"- These were the first thing I let Bentley try and I think he loved how crunchy they are! They are simply freeze dried sweet potatoes and he goes nuts for them.
Whole Life Tail Mix Grilled Sirloin Burgers- I haven't popped these open yet, but I like the idea that they are made with no fillers and quality meat!
Here is Bentley enjoying his first sweet potato chip :) I love my little mutt-face! This is the 5th month of my 6 month subscription and I just can't say enough good things about how affordable it is and the quality treats they send! Spoil your pup today and get them one Bark Box and I swear you will love it as much as Bentley and I do :)

Goodies Box- May 2013
The box was so heavy this month! And after seeing this huge bottle of coconut water I can see why. Not to mention there were a whopping 8 items in this month's box.
Zico Pure Coconut Water- I am not a huge fan of coconut water or milk or anything like that (but I love Thai food...riddle me that) however, I will give it a shot! I poured a nice healthy portion over ice to drink while I was at work....and it was kind of hard to get down. I ended up adding some water to it and then squirting in some Peach Bellini Crystal Light and it was much much better. I think I will try the rest of it with other flavors mixed in, I just can not do it by itself.
California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil- I used a packet of this with a batch of kale chips I made and it was delicious! It was light and flavorful and baked nicely at 325 degrees with out burning. I only needed about half of one pouch for each pan full of kale chips.
Bronco Bob's Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce- I do not even know where to start with how to go about trying this....but I will review when I finally do!
Sour Power Straws- Ugh, I do not like candy stuff (unless its chocolate, and then hand it the F over!) so these were a challenge. I ended up trying about 3-4 out of each pack on separate days. They are sour when you first start eating them, but then the more you eat the less sour they become. The orange ones in the sortz bag taste just like plastic! Yey! I can't really recommend these because I am just not a fan of these kinds of foods, so I will say 'try them at your own risk'. :)
Vickie's Kitchen Super Seedz- I have had these before as they were in a different food box subscription, and they are really good! The have a nice texture for seeds and the sea salt really enhances the flavor.
Numi Moroccan Mint Tea- I have not tried this yet but will update when I do!
Beanitos Nacho Cheese White Bean Chips- Beans- Check. Nacho cheese flavor- check. Yup, 2 things I really like, brought together in a chip! And they did not disappoint! So crunchy, so cheesy, so yummy. You can definitely tell that these chips are made from beans, but in a good way. The cheese flavor is much like that of a Dorito, and it comes together deliciously. I will be looking for these at my local grocer.
Wholly Guacamole- I love guac. My friends don't, but I do. This is a coupon for a FREE Wholly Guac product......YES!!! If you have not picked some of this up before, just do it. They come in little packets that open up perfectly for dipping and they taste great when you are too lazy to make your own guac. Highly recommend!!!
I am so excited they opened up the Goodies box so you can send a subscription as a gift! I may do that for my brother for Christmas this year. They have also been having a ton of sales through the site so it is really cost effective now to purchase the food from their page! I ordered a ton of the Alo drinks recently with free shipping!

Glossybox- May 2013
This month's GlossyMag was surprisingly better
than it has been in previous months. I think they took out a lot of the "fat" and have more product suggestions and information as well as great beauty and editor picks that were great.
Included this month was a coupon for a Sebastian product with purchase of Sebastian product. It is always nice when there are easy to use coupons included in the box and for items that are not $150 or more!
Amorepacific Color Control Cushion Compact- I thought this was going to be a powder, but when I applied it I found out it is a liquid and leaves your skin feeling a bit dewy....and then a bit sticky (I did layer it over the primer that was included this month). It does not have much in the way of coverage, so it reminds me of a tinted moisturizer. The color I got was a little light for me so I am going to mix it with some darker tinted moisturizer and try it again. First impression was not that fantastic just because of the sticky finish.
European Wax Center The Exfoliate- I have not tried this product yet but I will update when I do!
My Prime Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer- As soon as I applied this to my face it felt like rubber! It turned white as I rubbed it in and then felt like my face was coated in rubber. Yuck! I am going to give this another try, but I was not impressed with the first go-around.
Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray Volume Building Spray Gel- This did make my hair very fluffy, but it felt kind of stiff and dry. Also, the minute any humidity hit my hair, I got instant curls. It is not a great product for curly haired people who straighten their hair but it is great for curly haired people who wear their hair curly.
Nicka K New York Absolute! Perfume stick in Lux 369- This very potent solid perfume is smooth going on and doesn't leave a greasy streak. This particular scent is very vibrant and floral and kind of sultry. These go for about $15 on their website. I found a shimmer mist on there that I want to try too!
Etre Belle Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask- This fold out mask feels gooey and much like aloe vera when you take it out of the envelope. When I put it on it was nice and cool and felt very hydrating and fresh. I left it on forever because I loved how nice it felt!
I am looking forward to next month's box!! I am also considering investing in some of these masks they have been including. My skin just feels so fantastic after I use them!
