Witch Baby Soap is an indie bath product company that just popped up on my radar recently and I was very intrigued by the descriptions of the products as well as the fact that are all hand made, 100% cruelty free and vegan, and they don't contain a lot of harmful products usually found in bath and body products. After looking at the website and seeing reviews and videos online, I knew I had to make an order when the "Witches Tea Party" was launched and I have not been disappointed! The products arrived excellently packed and in one piece, they are amazing quality, and the scents are to die for. I am looking forward to the restock so I can try the other products!
Blood & Milk Salt Scrub and Body Butter
I am starting with my favorite two products! The Blood & Milk scent so amazing and delicious. It is blood orange and coconut milk, which I am guessing where the name came from. The blood orange is the first thing that hits your nose and it is so fresh and citrusy, then you get the coconut milk second and it makes it a creamy, sexy scent. It smells so good it's hard not to want to taste it.
The scrub smells good in the jar, but amazing in the shower! Using this on a loofa and scrubbing it on your body brings out the scent and it just envelops you.
The body butter is rich, thick and decadent. It is hard to the touch and once you scoop it into your hand it starts to melt. You can use this product in so may ways! You can put it on after you dry off, or you can put it on while you are still in the shower and wet. You can scoop this into a bath and let it melt for extra moisturizing or use it on your feet and hands in socks and cotton gloves. I am even going to try using this for tanning and putting it in my hair as a moisturizing treatment.
Next I tried the Psychic bath bomb, Psychic Body Butter, and Fairy Milk Bath Potion.
The bath potion was kind of a last minute add to my cart and I am so glad I grabbed it! You toss in some lid fulls to the bath under the running water and it makes a mound of bubbles! It does have dried flowers in it so it does require some clean up after your bath.
You can see the dried flowers in the bath in the pictures on the sides. The first time I tried the bath potion, I just tossed it in the still water and it still smelled amazing but did not give any bubbles. The Psychic bomb is that adorable, purple star and it has lavender buds on the top. I love the Psychic scent as it's not the typical lavender you would expect. You first smell the coconut butter and then on the back side you smell the lavender. You can see a short video of this bomb HERE . It is a fast fizzer and doesn't give much in the way of a show, but it turns the water a gorgeous purple color that you can see in the 2 pictures I posted.
The Immortalitea bath bomb is a beautiful little yellow and purple butterfly that just sits on the top of the water and fizzes from the outside making these gorgeous tie-dyed patterns in the water. I used this with the bath potion so there were already bubbles in the tub. It fizzed for a long time and was very relaxing to look at. The peach and floral scent is fresh, juicy, and uplifting. Even my mom (who could smell it in the adjacent room) commented on how lovely this smells. It comes in a little white box with a sticker on the front, but I think they say something different depending on the batch. I enjoyed this scent so much I am going to get the scrub with my next order!
These are the products I have not used yet! (Will post a review when I do)
The Rune bath bomb was too intriguing to just get one, so I got four! And I am so glad I did! Like the description on the website says, it's a mysterious smell. Kind of masculine and earthy but also floral and citrusy. If the scent wasn't enough to love, this bomb made the bath water a gorgeous green color and a little rune is in the middle of the bomb! The one on the right is Jera which is for success. I can't wait to see what the other 3 have in them. Here is a video of the bomb.
This is the Candied Violets bath bomb that look so adorable. I was a little worried about it being overly sweet and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is more on the floral side and the sweet notes take a backseat. This bomb has both pink and yellow sections in it and it makes these beautiful colored rings that kind of remind me of tie-dye. Here is a link to the bomb that I used. This bomb was so lovely with the scent and the oils made my skin so soft and silky. I paired this with the Fairy Milk bath potion and it was so relaxing. Here is a photo of the bath after the bomb. The water was this lovely purple color and the dried flowers and petals from the bath potion looked so nice together.
