Witch Baby Soap- First Order!

Witch Baby Soap is an indie bath product company that just popped up on my radar recently and I was very intrigued by the descriptions of the products as well as the fact that are all hand made, 100% cruelty free and vegan, and they don't contain a lot of harmful products usually found in bath and body products. After looking at the website and seeing reviews and videos online, I knew I had to make an order when the "Witches Tea Party" was launched and I have not been disappointed! The products arrived excellently packed and in one piece, they are amazing quality, and the scents are to die for. I am looking forward to the restock so I can try the other products!

Blood & Milk Salt Scrub and Body Butter

I am starting with my favorite two products! The Blood & Milk scent so amazing and delicious. It is blood orange and coconut milk, which I am guessing where the name came from. The blood orange is the first thing that hits your nose and it is so fresh and citrusy, then you get the coconut milk second and it makes it a creamy, sexy scent. It smells so good it's hard not to want to taste it.
The scrub smells good in the jar, but amazing in the shower! Using this on a loofa and scrubbing it on your body brings out the scent and it just envelops you.
The body butter is rich, thick and decadent. It is hard to the touch and once you scoop it into your hand it starts to melt. You can use this product in so may ways! You can put it on after you dry off, or you can put it on while you are still in the shower and wet. You can scoop this into a bath and let it melt for extra moisturizing or use it on your feet and hands in socks and cotton gloves. I am even going to try using this for tanning and putting it in my hair as a moisturizing treatment.

Next I tried the Psychic bath bomb, Psychic Body Butter, and Fairy Milk Bath Potion.
The bath potion was kind of a last minute add to my cart and I am so glad I grabbed it! You toss in some lid fulls to the bath under the running water and it makes a mound of bubbles! It does have dried flowers in it so it does require some clean up after your bath.
You can see the dried flowers in the bath in the pictures on the sides. The first time I tried the bath potion, I just tossed it in the still water and it still smelled amazing but did not give any bubbles. The Psychic bomb is that adorable, purple star and it has lavender buds on the top. I love the Psychic scent as it's not the typical lavender you would expect. You first smell the coconut butter and then on the back side you smell the lavender. You can see a short video of this bomb HERE . It is a fast fizzer and doesn't give much in the way of a show, but it turns the water a gorgeous purple color that you can see in the 2 pictures I posted.

The Immortalitea bath bomb is a beautiful little yellow and purple butterfly that just sits on the top of the water and fizzes from the outside making these gorgeous tie-dyed patterns in the water. I used this with the bath potion so there were already bubbles in the tub. It fizzed for a long time and was very relaxing to look at. The peach and floral scent is fresh, juicy, and uplifting. Even my mom (who could smell it in the adjacent room) commented on how lovely this smells. It comes in a little white box with a sticker on the front, but I think they say something different depending on the batch. I enjoyed this scent so much I am going to get the scrub with my next order!

These are the products I have not used yet! (Will post a review when I do)

The Rune bath bomb was too intriguing to just get one, so I got four! And I am so glad I did! Like the description on the website says, it's a mysterious smell. Kind of masculine and earthy but also floral and citrusy. If the scent wasn't enough to love, this bomb made the bath water a gorgeous green color and a little rune is in the middle of the bomb! The one on the right is Jera which is for success. I can't wait to see what the other 3 have in them. Here is a video of the bomb.

This is the Candied Violets bath bomb that look so adorable. I was a little worried about it being overly sweet and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is more on the floral side and the sweet notes take a backseat. This bomb has both pink and yellow sections in it and it makes these beautiful colored rings that kind of remind me of tie-dye. Here is a link to the bomb that I used. This bomb was so lovely with the scent and the oils made my skin so soft and silky. I paired this with the Fairy Milk bath potion and it was so relaxing. Here is a photo of the bath after the bomb. The water was this lovely purple color and the dried flowers and petals from the bath potion looked so nice together.

Bomb Diggy Bath & Beauty Review- More reviews coming soon!

So Bomb Diggy Bath & Beauty was suggested to me after my Etsy-bath-bomb-blunder and I was ready to cleanse my palette and try another small business with adorable bath bombs.
 BOMB DIGGY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
I can not say enough about these adorable, nostalgic and quality products. The website is to the point and easy to navigate. The description to the products are cute and the ingredient lists are very clear and include things I can pronounce!! Which makes me feel better about using these products. I made a large first order, but when I tried my first product I realized the order was not big enough! Let me start from the beginning.

My box arrived with Bomb Diggy stickers on the outside and the inside was adorably packed with red tissue paper and silver stars. All the bombs were lovingly cradled in those little cornstarch peanuts (which I like to lick and stick to things) and all the bombs arrived in perfect condition.

I also got a hand-written card from the owner thanking me for my order and telling me about the products in my order as well as suggesting which products, when used together, make a really awesome bath! Such a personal touch and I completely loved it.

So this is Geisha Exfoliating Massage Bar and this should be a staple in your shower. This bar has ground aduki beans in this cocoa and shea butter bar and it has a light sweet scent to it. This bar exfoliates with out being harsh on the skin and when you rinse the beans off your skin is left feeling so soft and hydrated. I like to use this right before I am about to jump out of the shower and just pat myself dry with the towel. I haven't needed to apply lotion after using this but the scent is so light and the butters absorb so nicely that I have been able to layer lotion over it. Don't underestimate this little bar!!!

The Your...Kiss! Lotion Bar was a must in my first order because it is just so adorable with those big lips and all that shimmer! This bar is great after you have have showered and you are all warm. It has this soft sweet scent that can go with any perfume or body spray and leaves the sweetest, lightest shimmer on your skin that stayed with me THE ENTIRE DAY! Even after a busy day of clinic and moving around patients and equipment, I still had shimmer on arms and chest and I was not sweaty, slimy or greasy. Try as I may, I can't get a good picture to demonstrate how delicate the shimmer is. This is a hefty bar too so it will last for a while!

So the Slumber Party bath bomb intrigued me because I love stars, I like relaxing baths before bed, and I am all about vanilla and sandalwood. Naturally this was the first bomb that I tried after opening my package and WOW!!!! If you like Lush bombs, you will love these bombs! It had everything my friends- amazing scent, showmanship, a surprise ending, and fantastic results to the skin.  The little stars actually absorb water and get a little bigger before the disintegrate into nothing which means there is nothing to clog the drain! And the shimmer and color that comes out of the center of this bomb creates this gorgeous night sky color in the water which smells great, is very moisturizing, and very calming. I highly recommend this bomb as it is a perfect way to end your day!
You can see the video I took of this bomb HERE and below are some pictures of the water and a better picture of how pink and adorable the bomb is!

Next bomb I tried was I'll Get You My Pretty bath bomb. So this bomb looks like a funky green moon and smells so fresh and tart and like citrus. This bomb had so much scent to it that my mom told me she was enjoying it when I came out from my bath. It did not have much in the way of showmanship.....until the surprise at the end! And the water turned this lovely green color. My skin felt amazing and soft and refreshed after this bath.
HERE is the video of this bath bomb in action and below are a few more pictures of the bomb.

The little witch's hat was paper and literally popped out of the water!

Drunk in Love bath bomb was aptly named and was so glad I ordered it. This bomb has a champagne and citrus scent touched with light floral that I just wanted to stay in forever. This one smelled so good that my dog actually tried to get in the tub several times and he had fun chasing around the rose buds that were floating on the water. You can feel the oils in this bomb when you play with it while it is fizzing and they soak into your skin and make you feel so soft and sensual. The center of this bomb has this gorgeous shimmer that comes out and makes the water so pretty and elegant. This is definitely the bomb to share with your significant other (or when you are single and fabulous like me, your dog) and then relax in your pj's with some wine afterwards.

And this is a pic of Bentley playing with the little rose buds before I cleaned out the bath.

I haven't tried the following products yet but I will update when I do!

Off The Chain bubble bar- review coming soon!

Splash bubble bar (left) and 16th & Collins bath bomb (right) were used together for an amazing bath experience! I used a quarter of the bubble bar first and then dropped in the bomb and it created a very clean, beachy bath. The lime scents and seaweed extracts in both products work together well and they create this gorgeous glittery teal bath water that leaves your skin feeling amazing. The bomb is a fast fizzing one and it has seaweed pieces in it that required extra attention to clean up afterwards. Since this bomb doesn't necessarily have any showmanship, I think I am going to put the next one in a nylon to make clean up easier! This combo is definitely going to be used again. I highly recommend it!! Video of the bomb fizzing HERE.

The LUSH product love continues....UPDATED!

My first LUSH order had only been in for a few days before I placed my second order. It was the massage bar that did it for me and influenced my second order! In retrospect, I should have ordered all the massage bars I had my eyes on as I use them so often the tend to disappear quickly.
In this order:
LUSH massage bar tin
Each Peach (and Two's a Pair) massage bar
Pearl massage bar
Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar
Sakura bath bomb
Space Girl bath bomb
Mint Julips lip scrub
Tea Tree Water toner water
Breath of Fresh Air toner water
Vanilla Puff dusting powder

LUSH massage bar tin- I went ahead and invested in the tin since I was ordering more bars and since digging my first bar out of the plastic bag was annoying and kind of gross. So far it has worked great with the bars I have stored in it. This tin is also large enough that it can easily be re-purposed if you don't buy any more massage bars....but I have a feeling that won't be the case!

Wiccy Magic Massage bar- This little bean covered bar has done wonder for my sore muscles. Think "Icy Hot" with the feel of this bar. When I first apply it, it is just minty feeling. After a minute or two the heat sets in and it is awesome. I feel like this one melts easily so I only had to do a few passes and then could work the oils into my skin and muscles with my hands. I have purchases Hottie and will be comparing the two!

Space Girl bath bomb- This bomb is so adorable! It has this rich currant and citrus scent that is lovely and relaxing. As you watch it, you can kind of see little explosions in the water. The dusting of glitter made the water look lovely too.  This one was a sinker as well as a fast fizzer so there was not much of a video for me to post. This is a good bomb if you want a big scent impact and don't really care about a show.

Sakura bath bomb- Still holding on to this one!

Each Peach (And Two's A Pair)- Still holding on to this massage bar!

I was having a little facial product freak out moment when I bought both of these. I was coming to the end of my Murad products and didn't know what I wanted to buy next and I have been flirting with the idea of going more natural. The Tea Tree Water is super refreshing and I feel like it tightens up my pores while the Breath of Fresh Air makes my skin feel so fresh and revitalized. I really like to use these right after a shower or before putting my make up on.

Mint Julips lip scrub- This was the only product that I was just satisfied with. Trust me, it does taste like mint chocolate chip and it has a nice texture for scrubbing my lips but I just didn't fall in love with it and I kind of wish I took a chance and got the Popcorn lip scrub instead.  I keep it by my bed (right next to The Kiss lip scrub) and I use them before bed however I bet they are awesome to use before applying lipstick.

Vanilla Puff dusting powder- I liked the Silky Underwear powder so much that I wanted another scent to enjoy. Again, I like dusting this stuff on before I don my scrubs and head out the door and I find that this sweet but subtle scent is very light but stays with me. Since I can not wear perfume to the hospital, I find that the dusting powders as well as the massage bars are just enough scent that I can enjoy my scent but not so strong that others can smell me without direct contact.

There are some reviews on some LUSH products I have been enjoying! My review on the Easter bath bombs and bubbles will be coming soon! (Of course I made another order after seeing the Easter products advertised in this last box!!)
